Each Crossover Symmetry program was developed based upon EMG analysis of the shoulder musculature and the positioning of athletic movement.

Injury Treatment/Prevention

Shoulder pain is most often secondary to poor humeral head control within the glenoid related to dysfunction of the rotator cuff and/or scapular dyskinesis. It is important to distinguish poor function from muscle weakness. Doing typical “strengthening” exercises will only achieve so much to facilitate proper coordinated movement within the entire shoulder complex and throughout a full range of motion. The Crossover Symmetry system addresses this issue by incorporating functional movement patterns to achieve a balance in strength and coordinated movements.

Through the use of the Crossover Symmetry System, many have reported faster returns to activity in cases of shoulder impingement, non-operative SLAP tears, chronic shoulder pain, thoracic outlet syndrome and even post-operative rotator cuff repair.
